Hobby Trax Sponsorship

 

Are you building an exhibition layout? Would you like a huge discount on everything from us to help you with the build and to promote it in our magazine? Would you like loads of freebies and merchandise for you to give out at shows?

If YES, then we would be interested in sponsoring your layout.

Each year we sponsor one exhibition layout. We've picked our layout for 2025 and you can follow their progress in The Thistle Whistle.

We will be looking for our next layout towards the end of 2025 however you can read the acceptance requirements below. You may apply at any time, however your build must be starting in late 2025 or 2026.

Acceptance requirements:

You must be building a new layout for exhibition within the next 12 months. Ideally you will already have some provisional show bookings in place.

The layout can be of any size, gauge, scale, time-period or location.

Home layouts or any kind of fixed layouts not for exhibition are not acceptable for sponsorship.

You must agree to display our logos in a prominent location somewhere on the layout front where it can be seen by the public at every exhibition for the lifetime of the layout. We will discuss this with you prior to the first exhibition.

You must agree to display our promotional material e.g. brochures and catalogues which we will supply and hand these out to visitors.

We will follow your build progress of a series of articles in The Thistle Whistle and you will need to provide us with regular updates and photographs.

In return we will offer you:

25% discount on anything we have on our website, excluding gift cards and delivery.

If you advise us of your exhibition dates we'll promote them here and ensure you have loads of freebies to hand out! This will continue for as long as you are exhibiting the layout.

The discounts will run from the start of the agreement and for a period of 12 months.

All applications will be carefully considered and we will discuss with you your plans for the layout and how Hobby Trax can help you.

We reserve the right to refuse sponsorship if there are too many applications or to close the sponsorship to new applications at any time without notice.
